Bukit Saga : The Big Tree

Happy New Year, readers! I am so sorry that I have not written much. But I am back. With lots of ideas to travel this year. Somehow, I have so many things I want to do that I am not sure if I can travel as much. Anyway, you will know if I travelled when I write them here. Forget about them for now.

One fine Sunday on 05012014, I went to Bukit Saga for my weekly trek. Well, it was suppose to be my usual 1 hour trek, and off I go home from there. But today, my friend met her friends along the way, and her friends suggested if we would like to follow them towards the Big Tree. That sounded new to me. My friend agreed because neither of us has been there. From the peak of Bukit Saga, we took 45 minutes to reach the Big Tree. Let me tell you this. The walk rendered my legs weak and energy-less. They were walking so fast.. actually, more like they were running. I did not want to run. It was a descending route towards the Big Tree, and a short steep descending route. Then, a short ascending walk. As soon as I reached the Big Tree, I was WOW.. IT REALLY IS A BIG TREE! Climbing up was easy. Climbing down is a bit scary because I am afraid of heights.

I am so surprised this is in Bukit Saga, Cheras. I come here almost every Sunday and I have never ventured this area. The only place I have been in Bukit Saga is the waterfall and the fishpond

My thighs cramp for 3 days after that. Way to go!
