Bali : Part 6 - To the Island We Go

Today is the day we head back to the foot of the hill. We are getting closer to civilisation.

That little thing in the photo is actually a shelter where it can fit one camp. If your eyes are sharp enough, you can see a little stall behind it. That is actually the toilet. The first civilised toilet. Other toilets are just mostly -dig, dig, dig.

Last view of Rinjani Mountains.

Walking through green fields. It was a lovely trek. The weather was cooling. There was no sun.

Mushrooms to make you go 'high'.

Finally, we reached back. We passed by a village.

We had a transport waiting for us to drop us at the jetty.

That is our boat ride prices to go to one of the Gili Islands. We went to the famous Gili Trawangan, where there is more population compared to the other Gili Islands.

While waiting for our boat ride, we had a local meal

This is Mee Bakso. That big round thing is actually an egg.

Our boat is here! This time, I didn't vomit. So proud of myself.

After an hour ride, we finally reached!

The main transport in the island - horses!

While waiting for my friends to get accommodation, I snapped a photo of my feet. All wrapped in band-aids. They were mostly gone already.

And this is our accommodation. There are hammocks, if you can see.

Right after we got back, we went to take a bath. But, unfortunately, the water supply was very limited! And salty too! Was frustrating because all we wanted was a bath!
