The Story
24012025: This morning, we did our laundry at Mama Wash. Then, we proceeded to Sentosa Island as my boyfriend has a mission - to always take a dip in the countries he travels to. We found a place where one can take a dip in Sentosa Island. Singapore is a hub for many ships so I would think it is dirty to take a dip, However, there is a small spot on Sentosa Island that allows a swim and there is a also a large float for kids to play.
We took the bus and train to Sentosa Island. There is a Universal Studio on Sentosa Island which I visited in 2011. None of my companions were interested in visiting Universal Studio. Not me either. I paid S$72 in 2011 and today, at writing time, the ticket is S$160. Good thing I have experienced it while I could because I would not want to pay that amount.
Here at Sentosa where we could see many cargo ships.
On our way towards the beach where one can take a swim and play on the float. There were not many people on the beach as it was drizzling. Of course, it was very warm in the waters.
There are shower heads provided to rinse off the salt water.

Then, we took the bridge to cross over to Palawan Island.
Me on top of the watchtower on Palawan Island with Sentosa Island in the background.
We were quite tired to walk back to the train station on Sentosa Island so we took the beach tram. It is free to use.
For lunch, a visit to another hawker food court where I had my favourite food - char kuey teow (fried flat rice noodles) together with a mug of hot coffee.
