02032014 - Today, we are doing both 3rd (in the morning) and last (in the afternoon) dive. We have to pack our things by 430pm because our boat ride is at 5pm. Today, we learn about using a dive compass. It is a pretty interesting gadget. We head off to the jetty to do our third dive.
At the jetty, we are going to enter into the waters using the giant stride. This is where we just walk into the waters with a single stride. Inflate the jacket, put the regulator (breathing apparatus) into your mouth, put your hands on the mask and in you walk.
We used the compass in the waters. The vast sea is really scary if you lose your way. Every way and direction looks the same to me. I wish I can talk to a fish and ask for directions.
After learning about the directions, we were off to do exploration.
The fish that everyone catches at the jetty.
GoPro camera in action.
The giant scary eel that I saw on the 2nd dive swims out from its place and disappeared.
Up we go after an hour. Going up back the stairs by the jetty. This time, the tank is not so heavy because I used up most of the oxygen.
Time for lunch, pack up and the last dive.
