*Diversion from Tibet and Nepal photos*
Another must-see place to visit in Kuala Lumpur is Putrajaya! Finally, I am here! Putrajaya is the administrative office of Malaysia. It is very modern, very spacious, very full of big gardens.
The gardens - Botanical Garden. It is so huge that one can rent a bike and cycle around. Unfortunately, by the time I wanted to rent a bike, there were no bicycles! And there is a Moroccan Complex in the Garden too, which I found out when I reach there, that one must buy a ticket to enter at the Visitor Centre. =_=".. And that is after me walking there. And did I not mention that the garden is huge!
The Moroccan Complex.
Then, I drove around. At a very slow speed of 40km/hour. All vehicles go at that speed to enjoy the view. Next garden is Perdana Putra Garden where the Putrajaya Landmark is, as a symbol that Putrajaya has been officiated.
My main mission was to visit the Mosque and the Prime Minister's Office. And I found them! And not before I walked through more gardens. :-)
The Putra Mosque made me smile because it is pink in colour! :-) It's so beautiful! There were 2 staff in the Mosque who was quite surprised to see me in the Mosque by myself, and tried to convince me to convert. I am a Buddhist, by the way. But that doesn't stop me from learning more about the different religions in Malaysia.
That is the air-conditioner in the Mosque.
The Mosque has a view of the Prime Minister's Office.
The Perdana Putra Roundabout is really huge! Cars can park around it.
From the middle of the Roundabout, this is how the Prime Minister's Office looks like.
And this is where the tourist stands to snap a photo!
Behold the Prime Minister's Office!
I saw this bridge from the Roundabout and I was determined to get there! It is so different. The Seri Wawasan Bridge.
Another Park - Wetlands Garden. Which has a lot of wetlands, duh, and also an observation tower to see the entire view of Putrajaya.
The Government Complex. From afar, you can see another Mosque - Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque also known as the Iron Mosque because of its steel-like colour.
The Palace of Justice has the Federal Court and Malaysian Court of Appeal.
From the Palace of Justice is the Iron Mosque.
Entering the Iron Mosque.
The Mosque has a small pond inside. I almost walked into it until I realised people stopping.
From the Mosque, one can see the view of the Palace of Justice, as how from the Palace of Justice, one can see the Mosque.
The view of the Mosque from afar.
The night view of the bridges.
The Seri Wawasan Bridge! With 3 different colours! Blue, red and purple. Look at the below photos for the closer look of the bridge!!
At night, the view of the Iron Mosque from the Seri Wawasan Bridge!
The Bridge is wide enough to allow cars to park at the side of the bridge.
From another side of Seri Wawasan Bridge, one can see the Putra Mosque (unfortunately, I can't see the pretty pink colour) and the Prime Minister's office.
And this is how the Prime Minister's office looks like at night.
Putrajaya, mission accomplished! You are definitely a place worth going to!
